Ever since I was a child, I loved numbers and numbers with dollar signs in front of them were my favorite. I thought that interest was the coolest thing ever and compound interest blew my mind. This love for numbers drove me to complete my degree in Finance from Washington State University Vancouver and ultimately lead me to a job that changed my life forever.

Fresh out of college, I went to work for Financial Beginnings, a non-profit based out of Portland, Oregon. Their goal was simple, to educate youth in personal finance. At the time, I had a goal of moving up the corporate (or non-profit) world and becoming a superstar CEO. While I was fortunate to work up to a fancy title with the word “Director” in it, my philosophy about life and money completely changed. I realized that a lot of people don’t know much about money, how to manage it, or how to use it to make more money. This always brewed in the back of my mind and was ultimately the driving force that got me into real estate.

Purchasing a home is one of the largest financial investments a person will make in their lifetime. While it is important to love the home that you purchase, I think it is equally, if not more important, to buy a property that financially makes sense. Whether it is a property you want to turn into an investment home in the future, a house you want to sell after 2-4 years, or a triplex where you occupy one of the three units; you have to properly evaluate the financial aspect of things, so that you can make your best financial decision.

It is my goal to help guide individuals through the real estate process, while educating them on all aspects of the transaction. Regardless of what your real estate goals may be, I will help walk you through the journey from beginning to end, provide you with accurate, comprehensive and honest information, quality and professional service, and always be an advocate that will negotiate and fight for your best interest.
